Most workforce tools don't fail at launch, but most do fail. We build against and evaluate that pattern.
Today we're publishing our full capabilities menu as a plain accounting of what types of solutions we build. As we continue to expand the scale and scope of our new and existing tools, this menu will be out of date as soon as it's on here. We'll endeavor to keep this updated.
Three ideas hold this menu of capabilities together.
- We can help determine what to build → For example, we can help you define what we call a Minimum Ethical Product. A social-impact tool shouldn't create new harm through dead ends, confusion, bad data, bias, or neglect. Before we ship, we ask one question: what valuable thing can we responsibly ask the people we serve to rely on?
- And how to build it → We can support repairing any part of the education to career pipeline.
- And how to sustain it → We operate using a Stewardship model. Tools need owners to survive. We consider maintenance and growth to be mission critical to a product if it is intended to drive social impact.
Across the whole pipeline
The capabilities menu is organized around the education-to-career pipeline.
- Career discovery — Connecting learners and workers to high-growth career pathways
- Dual enrollment — Connecting young adults to dual enrollment courses
- Training — Connecting workers to upskilling training
- Wraparound supports — Connecting workers to local help and wraparound supports
- Job seeking — Connecting qualified workers to trustworthy regional job listings
- Strong fit hiring — Connecting employers to strong fit candidates
The less visible work
Underneath every build are many repeated skillsets, including:
- Design and behavioral friction reduction
- AI capabilities
- Data and infrastructure
- Product growth
- Stewardship and operations
Where to go from here
If you're responsible for connecting people to opportunity, the menu is a starting point for a more useful conversation than "what features do you want." We can start with just the metric you're trying to move.
Want to talk through your own portion of the education to career pipeline? Book a discovery session centered on your success metrics, and we'll show you where the minimum ethical product and stewardship approach fits.
