SkillUp Coalition

85,000 workers connected. $11.2B in new wages.

Low-wage workers across the country struggled to find affordable, short-term training and employment opportunities open to non-degree candidates. The data powering these systems was broken — expired links, missing programs, outdated records.

WhereWeGo configured its Workforce Hub tools to power SkillUp's Training Navigator — with a customized CMS, repaired Jobs Navigator API pipelines, a Career Navigator for in-demand gateway positions, and a Resources Navigator linking workers to coaching, childcare, and scholarship programs.

"52% of jobs require skills training beyond high school, but not a four-year degree. Yet only 43% of American workers have access to necessary skills training."

IREC

35,000 green workforce members. 400+ organizations. 20+ states and territories.

Clean energy contractors, government entities, employers, and workers — from prospective jobseekers to experienced government contractors — needed dynamic, shared access to renewable energy opportunities across the sector. IREC's career mapping tools dated back to 2013 and couldn't serve a modern mobile workforce.

WhereWeGo provided strategic consulting to shape the Green Workforce Connect vision, then configured the full Workforce Hub behind IREC's custom CMS. Green Workforce Connect is a hub for people — not just jobs — connecting the full spectrum of the clean energy workforce. We implemented a Resource Navigator and Organization Navigator with energy-specific attributes, and rebuilt career mapping tools from the ground up with mobile-first, person-centered design.

"76% of Energy & Utilities employers report talent and skills gaps within their current workforce."

Workforce Central

90+ partners aligned on a behavioral health talent pipeline.

Tacoma's behavioral health sector faced serious talent shortages — and workers had no clear picture of how to enter or grow within the industry. Aggregated labor market data failed to reflect ground-level realities across the county.

Workforce Central partnered with WhereWeGo to build transparent career pathway tools using our mobile-first Career Map platform. The map features real community member spotlights, specialized occupation routes, and direct connections to local upskilling resources — all embedded within existing partner sites. We continue to support and evolve the tool alongside the consortium.

"160 million Americans live in areas with mental health professional shortages, with over 8,000 more professionals needed."

GNO, Inc.

A job hub for 10 parishes — with automated discovery and clean data from day one.

GNO, Inc. needed to connect job seekers across 10 parishes with real opportunities and corresponding training programs, while giving regional employers clear visibility into the talent pipeline from education through employment.

WhereWeGo configured the full Workforce Hub for Greater New Orleans — including Career, Training, and Resources Navigators — and added a specialty job board with automated job discovery and a custom applicant tracking system. We performed data discovery and repair upfront so the platform launched with verified, accurate listings. This is ongoing work — we continue to steward and evolve the platform alongside GNO, Inc.

Louisiana Board of Regents

For the first time, any person in Louisiana can discover any dual enrollment course in the state.

Students, families, and counselors across Louisiana had no single place to discover and connect with dual enrollment opportunities — creating information gaps that disadvantaged students who needed that early postsecondary access most.

Working with the Louisiana Board of Regents, WhereWeGo built the Louisiana Dual Enrollment Portal — a Learner Connection Hub connecting every high school and every college in the state. The platform integrates secure role-based access, multilingual design, and robust content moderation tools. It meets WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and serves multiple audiences: students, families, counselors, and administrators.

"Postsecondary opportunity should be visible to every student — not just the ones who already know where to look."

— Louisiana Board of Regents

Outcomes

13,574 dual enrollment courses standardized and discoverable
100% of high schools in Louisiana have options
100% of Board of Regents institutions represented
WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards supported

What our partners say

Prior to working with the WhereWeGo team the creation of Louisiana's dual enrollment portal seemed like a daunting technology task. WhereWeGo completely transformed our approach to this statewide resource.

My favorite thing about working with WWG is that you are true partners. We think through our goals, opportunities, hopes and challenges together and our interests are now intertwined. It's like having a real extension of our team. Also you guys are pretty cool!
